A degree in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is one of the most sought-after programmes in the field of Information Technology. The programme offers a sound academic base for an advanced career in Computer Applications. It also carries out the required analysis and synthesis involved in Computer Systems, Information Systems and Computer Applications. The BCA programme caters to the needs of students aspiring to excel in the field of computer applications and is designed to nurture computer professionals who are versatile in the use of computer tools and the latest technologies. It is a semester based 3-year undergraduate program which comprises of six semesters. The course bridges the gap between institute and industry by emphasizing on latest computer applications. The course provides a foundation in mathematics, computer science and management skills applied to computer science. In this course the students will be exposed to various areas of computer applications including the latest developments keeping abreast with the industry The Institute has well-equipped lab for the department with the latest software and computers.

BCA is a 3-year full time degree programme which includes 6 semesters with training (industrial) after 5th semester. The UG degree is awarded by DCRUST, Murthal
Eligibility Criteria : Candidate of any stream (Science, Commerce or Arts) securing 50% or more (45 % marks only for SC/ST/OBC candidate) at 10+2 class. Student must be required intermediate Knowledge of Computer operator.
